                      IQ has its complete meaning being the INTELLIGENCE QUOTIENT.  This Quotient can be measured to know individual levels ranging from Below Special (BELOW IQ 70) to above Very Superior (MORE THAN IQ 140) in general terms. In more specific terms, it ranges from Mentally inadequate to Exceptionally gifted.

1)   Regular or high intake of sugar (most carbohydrates in general) can have undesirable effects on your thinking abilities. Avoid it right before preparing for an immediate exam or meeting. This is because of the insulin the body releases to digest the sugar. Lower your sugar intake to better your IQ performance.

2)  Omega 3 has been helping people improve their quality of life from healthy hearts to healthy minds. This brain powering nutrient is found in eggs and most sea foods (example:> fish). It has been proven that fish consumption speeds up the brain and helps it to focus for a longer duration. Consuming fish also helps in the lowering of depression. There are omega 3 pills, food supplements and even candies (for consumers who do not prefer pills). These brain nutritional supplements support mental functioning of the brain and easy boosting of the IQ.


3)  It has been scientifically confirmed that you can improve your scores if u consume coffee before taking an important exam. However, the effect is short. The Caffeine in coffee “when consumed REGULARLY” can have harmful side-effects. B)Great computer games such as Scrabble and Chess are strategy based computer games that are noticed for their stimulating effects on brains. These games make their players think and plan ahead. At the end of it all, the brain is exercised and the IQ is enhanced. Research has shown that kids who play such computer games have higher IQs. Consoles such as PlayStation, X-box and Nintendo Ds have some specific games that are designed to boost your IQ by speeding up your mental processing and giving your brain a good training. I greatly indulge myself in this particular IQ enhancing method because it is such a fun way to boost your IQ. Examples of these IQ boosting consol games include; Sight Training, Big Brain Academy and some older versions of games like Bricks and Dr. Mario. These games do apply intelligence enhancing functionalities.


C) IQ tests puzzles in general consist of a graded series of tasks. Such brainteasers will develop your IQ scores, making your brain to be more familiar and to cope better with these types of challenges. Buy EBooks online or books of IQ test puzzles.      The IQs of kids can be enhanced more rapidly. This is because their brains are fresh and in the developing phase. Kids are always ready to learn something new. Mentally challenging books are great for your reading and writing abilities while other forms of books enhance your thought process and improves your vocabulary. Focus your reading less on fiction and more on mentally challenging books. A good way to relax your brain is to read a book.

This is a great way to boost your IQ. The idea is to emulate what Smart people do, not what they say. Observe people who are cleverer and brighter than you and copy what they do differently from you. Always be in the company of smart people who have productive ideas and learn something new. Go after their habits, how they manage their time, the way they use their minds and what they do differently from you.
